What a night we had here in Vacationland. The Werewolves of Maine really know how to throw a party, and if you missed last night’s full moon festivities, you really should be kicking yourself this morning.
Maine does Halloween right!
I don’t know about you, but I definitely need to hook up my brain to this giant 10,000 volt battery of Deep Thoughts to get it going this morning. If you need a little brainside assistance, you’ve certainly come to the right place.
Let’s jump start our brains…
I ran into a lot of Ghosts last night at The Howler. The Halloween Season in Maine is peak vacation time for Otherworldly Beings, and Ghosts always lead the charge. I had so many questions for them, but they were all having too much fun to answer them.
Why are some Ghosts good and others bad? Can they all possess people? What are their standards for going inside a living person and taking control? Should I be upset or relieved that I’ve never been possessed?
Do Ghosts think Casper is a good representation of them, or do they hate the little celebrity? Do Ghosts actually look like Casper or are they spookier? Do Ghosts get to select their appearance? Can they look all soft and cuddly one night, and then change over to sinister and shimmering on another?
Do Ghosts get to choose where they haunt, or does it depend on the Haunted House Real Estate Market at the time? Do Ghosts ever fight over a haunting location? If so, how do Ghosts settle a dispute?
Would the Ghostbusters’ technology really work? Do Ghosts watch Ghostbusters and laugh, or see it more like a frightening documentary? Is the Ghost of Christmas Future as bad ass as he seems in A Christmas Carol? Did the Ghost and Mrs. Muir ever get freaky? Can Ghosts have relations with the living? If so, does that explain the moaning we hear in Haunted Houses?
Is there a Ghost Court that determines how long a Ghost must walk the earth? Can Ghosts appeal the lengths of their sentences? Do some Ghost choose to remain here even though they have been cleared for entry into the Great Beyond?
I told you I had a lot of questions. There are so many more haunting my Deep Thoughts, but I think my brain is overheating, so I need to disconnect and relax.
If you have any answers to my questions, please share them with me in the comments section. Thanks. Happy Saturday!
