She might be in a different time zone, but she’s never too far from my thoughts or my heart. Tonight, The Girl Who Can Read Me Like A Book is poring over her books and cramming her big brain with information for her upcoming exams.
I thought it would be a nice study break if her favorite Modern Philosopher wrote something sweet for her so she knew she was on my mind. So, Sweetheart, I just wanted to tell you that I’m sending you sweet thoughts, and I know you’re going to ace your tests. I’d expect nothing less from The Girl With The 4.0 GPA.
Why don’t you rest those big brown eyes and think about sitting out on the front porch of The House on the Hill with me as we laugh, drink some wine, and talk about our day? I’ll be the handsome guy next to you, holding your hand, and singing to you despite your vehement protests.
I think this song would be perfect, as it so reminds me of you…
Don’t stay up too late. Your brain needs its rest, and you need to dream about me…
This is so cute I’m dying.
While I’d hate for you to expire simply because I’ve written something romantic, I am glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
sURE YOU DON’T WANT TO MOVE LOCK STOCK AND GARGOYLE OUT HER WAY? yOU GOT IT BAD, MAN!!!!
The Gargoyle has been sent out her way to keep an eye on her and make sure she’s safe…
Man or Woman….it don’t matter….wants to know somebody in this world is thinking about them. 🙂 After reading this, I am sure the woman desire it even more. Very sweet. Thanks for sharing what is in your heart.
Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Oh heck I’m all tearful now..just a tad emotional ! The girl who has a loving man is a very lucky girl indeed 🙂 a beautiful post xxx
Thank you. 🙂
You know how on St. Patrick’s Day, “everyone is Irish”? Whenever this song plays, I become a brown-eyed girl. I approve everything about this musical selection along and I also wish The Girl much success.
…”along” was supposed to be deleted. Silly laptop.
I’m sure she appreciates your kind words. 🙂
So romantic….:-)
Thank you. Glad you liked it. 🙂
*swoon* you realize nothing anyone says to me for the rest of the day is going to sound any good, right? No matter what they say, they’re getting a look and a “COME ON. YOU CAN DO BETTER.”
Hopefully, The Girl With the Brown Eyes feels the same way. Brown Eyed Girl was actually on the radio as I was driving home from work tonight. It’s a sign!
