Happy Halloween, Modern Philosophers!
Everyone on the staff of this blog loves this holiday, and wishes you the best as you roam the streets in search of candy, monsters, and mischief.
This is the one day of the year where those of you from away get a glimpse of what daily life is like in Maine. Otherworldly Beings use Halloween as an opportunity to explore other states, roam freely across America, and get in all the sightseeing they are unable to do during the rest of the year.
That Witch, Ghost, Zombie, Vampire, Flying Monkey, Gargoyle or Alien that you pass on your way to the next house while you’re trick or treating could very well be a Mainer on holiday. Wish that Otherworldly Being a Happy Halloween!
Tomorrow is another big holiday, Modern Philosophers. It’s this blog’s first anniversary! Can you believe it’s already been a year of Deep Thoughts, Friday Night Think Tanks, Three Chairs on a Porch, Phortune Cookies and all the rest of the silliness that’s spilled into your lives via this page? How quickly it’s grown!
Have a wonderful All Hallow’s Eve. If any of you are in Brewer, please stop by The House on the Hill to say hi and collect some candy!
Love this! Happy Hogaween my friend! XOXO – Bacon
Same to you! 🙂
Happy Halloween and blogiversary!!!
Thank you! Happy Halloween!
