Freshly Pressed Again…Thank You!

I was a little overwhelmed when I got home tonight, Modern Philosophers.  I grabbed the flashlight and jumped off the porch, into the neighbors’ snowy, icy yard to check if the roofers had indeed come today to fix the roof of The House on the Hill.

I used the flashlight’s beam to discover that the missing shingles had been replaced, and then Gary the Gargoyle strutted over from his usual perch and said, “You could’ve just asked me if they’d been here.  Would’ve saved you a walk through all that snow.”

I don’t know why I don’t utilize my Gargoyle more often!

When I finally got inside, I saw that I had a ton of emails, but deleted them all because they were from WordPress, which meant I would reply to them once I got onto the site.

Well, Mr. Smarty Toga, you accidentally deleted the email from WordPress telling you that you’d been Freshly Pressed again!  Oops.

It took me a little while to figure it all out, but I put my keen detecting skills to work.  I saw a bunch of hits on my Pluto post and noticed a plethora of hits from Freshly Pressed.  Then I stumbled upon all the comments on the Pluto post.

I was shocked, elated, thrilled, and humbled.  Thank you, WordPress!

The second time is even more exciting than the first.  I don’t even know what to say, hence all my babbling.

Thank you so much!  I’m not afraid to say that I’m a little giddy right now.  I’d keep rambling on about how honored I am, but I hear the orchestra starting to play me off the stage.  Before I go…let’s all help Pluto regain planetary status!  Pluto!  Pluto!
