Okay, I Will Admit That Snow Can Look Nice

I am stuffed after a delicious Thanksgiving Feast, Modern Philosophers.

Before I pass out on the couch in a food coma (don’t worry, I remembered to lock the windows and doors in the name of Zombie safety!), I wanted to share some photos that depict the beauty of Maine after a snowstorm.

Correction.  Photos that depict how handsome Maine can be after a snowstorm.  Here is your friendly neighborhood Modern Philosopher forming some Deep Thoughts on snow and how it can make the world around me look like a postcard.

This is the yard between the house and the garage.  Looks like the perfect canvas for an army of Guardian Snow Angels, doesn’t it?

There really are some nice houses on my block, and they look just perfect when covered in snow.  I’m pretty sure there has to be a Christmas Carol written about the way this street looks after a snowstorm…

Look at all that snow separating The House on the Hill from my neighbors’ place.  It does make me think of a giant white blanket, and if I were still a kid, I’d definitely be out there trying to build a snowman, or riding a sled down the hill.

My neighbors in the blue house had their granddaughter over for her first Thanksgiving.  I bet she loved all the snow, even at her age.  There’s something about the white stuff that fills a child’s eyes with glee and a little mischief…
