Merry Christmas! What Did Santa Bring You???

SantaMerry Christmas, Modern Philosophers!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas morning, and awakened to find that Santa Claus had paid you a visit.

There’s nothing for me to unwrap on Christmas morning, so I was hoping that you would tell me what Santa left for you under the tree.

So what did you get, Modern Philosophers?  Let me enjoy Christmas vicariously through you this year.  Spare no details!

I also wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season from The House on the Hill.  This blog has become my main source of Holiday Cheer over the last couple of Christmases, and it brings me great joy to spend the month of December writing Holiday themed posts for you to enjoy.

Your comments to my Holiday posts bring much needed Holiday Cheer and fill my heart with the Christmas Spirit.

christmas-presentsSo even though I might not have any presents to unwrap this morning, I have actually been enjoying a month’s worth of Christmas gifts from you, Modern Philosophers.  Thank you!

Please fill the comments section of this post with lists of what Santa brought for you.  It will make me smile to know how happy you all are on this merry morning.

As for me, I am going to keep Dad’s Holiday tradition alive by enjoying some pepperoni and cheese while I watch the Knicks game.  Dear old Dad really did love to spice up the Holidays with his favorite appetizer.

Plus, I am all smiles as I sit here and watch Cali and Luna play with their Christmas presents.  I have a feeling that excited kitty noises will fill the house all day as they scamper from room to room chasing their toys.

Who knows who might show up at The House on the Hill to spread a little Christmas Joy?  I have a sneaking suspicion that I’ll be visited by Carolers, and that my Otherworldly Friends are planning to throw a wild party here this afternoon.

Do they really think I haven’t noticed the Flying Monkeys circling overhead?  Or the way that Seamus and The Devil were taking inventory of the kitchen cabinets on Christmas Eve?  Even though they’ve obviously used a Cloaking Spell to hide the giant cauldron set up in my dining room, don’t they know I can smell whatever Magical elixir is brewing within it?

North PoleI think I have a very busy day ahead of me, Modern Philosophers.  Hope your Christmas is filled with joy, happiness, and love.

Merry Christmas, and thank you for keeping me company during the Holiday Season!

I bought myself a Playstation 4 at Walmart yesterday since I don’t have any presents either. If you’re gonna buy for yourself, gotta go for it. 🙂 That and leftover pizza are on the agenda for today, until the Chinese food is delivered.

( Yes, I went to the ‘Mart on Christmas Eve. I figured if I could survive that, then it was a good omen for the coming new year.)

We had Chinese yesterday, too! It’s a tradition.

    You have a nice Christmas:)

No presents here either Austin. But I have a roof over my head and heat this winter so I consider those gifts. I have 3 fur babies that keep me entertained. Can’t ask for more than that. Merry Christmas!

You have your writing talent, Austin, a gift that many people in this world would trade any material things for gladly. You have friends here on WordPress that would run through a virtual wall for you. You have the NBA on TV and traditions to carry on from your dad and happy kitties that you adopted and in turn adopted you this year. Riches at the House on the Hill, my friend. And 53 degrees in Maine!! Merry Christmas, Austin.

Not alot of gifts for the adults in family this year . I thought we should take that money & sponser Salvation Army’s Angel Tree so that’s what we did . Now the kids in the family got their gifts but that money the adults pooled together bought gifts for needy children on those paper angels on the Angel Trees . My heart is filled with joy knowing somewhere today we made some kids very happy who wouldn’t have had Christmas. Then today i had the opportunity to give to another child whose Mom lost her job & his Father is incarcerated. My Christmas was about giving to those who needed it most . I hope it will inspire our family to continue in the spirit of giving ! Merry Christmas Austin !

  8. Nothing here either, Austin.
Husband got laid-off by email a week ago.
Ah, the joyful impersonality of technology.
Though, where would I be without my computer….I couldn’t read your wonderful posts. I would feel quite isolated.
The temperature is in the 50s here in Virginia too. No snow to shovel is a good thing.

I got a Zombie for Christmas. I know you have plenty of otherworldly beings up your way but he is my first official house guest (My pet dragon stays in the garage).
