Candle, candle burning bright,
Warm me on this frigid night.
Provide a light so I might see
The amazing world surrounding me.
Candle, candle with dancing flame,
I hear the darkness call my name.
Protect me in your orange glow
From shadow monsters down below.
Candle, candle do not flicker
Or else you’ll bring the blackness quicker.
I sense the walls are closing in,
When you go out, my fears begin.
Candle, candle in my hand
Provide the strength to take a stand.
If you help me to be brave
I’m sure the demons will behave.
Candle, candle don’t get smaller
I see the shadows growing taller.
Illuminate the garden path
And I’ll escape from evil’s wrath.
Candle, candle never leave me
Or else my blindness will deceive me.
With you forever at my side
I shall never need to hide.
Candle, candle burning bright
Inspire courage against the night…
Very sweet,
Thank you. I have a sweet side that comes out every 6 – 8 weeks…
So I was thinking, you have all those candles and a werewolf so you need steaks and marshmallows.
I just need a big glass of milk and then it’s time for bed…
ha ha sweet dreams
Thanks!
I wish you warmth of spirit and body.
Thank you. 🙂

the title candle caught my attention. Let the brightness of the candle illuminate our life while it’s still burning….
That was really beautiful Austin 🙂
Thank you…
Ohhh! that was so thought provoking and almost sensual in your use of words. Loved this one. 🙂
There once was a guy named Austin
Who lived somewhere North of Boston
He made people laugh
While following the path
To worlds that we all could get lost in
I love it. A gold star for your toga!
