For those Modern Philosophers already mourning the end of AMC’s hit series “Mad Men” even before the second part of Season 7 gets around to airing, there might be a reason to put away the black armbands and break out the laugh track instead.
Multiple sources have told me that AMC has given the green light to the production of 10 episodes of a spinoff series, that will be a half hour sitcom.
While the details are still very vague at this point, this Modern Philosopher has been told that the series will focus on Jon Hamm’s Don Draper and a new wife, who will be introduced in the penultimate episode of the series.
