Hey, Doc, Have You Got The Time?

Doc hatHey, Doc,

Have you got the time

To help a guy in need?

I cannot see the future

Because I’m dwelling

In the past.

My insurance says

You’re out of network

But who can put a price

On peace of mind?

I had no idea

My past mistakes

Would haunt me

Like a Ghost

With nothing but time…

Future Me

Shouldn’t have to suffer

For the stupidity

Of Austin past.

Doc BrownI’ve heard great things

About your practice

Hey, Doc,

Have you got the time

For me?

About Austin

Native New Yorker who's fled to the quiet life in Maine. I write movies, root for the Yankees, and shovel lots of snow.

there is always time, you have to make the most of each moment, for who knows how much of it there is?

I accidentally read this post as a prayer and laughed. Try changing the hey doc to hey God and gage your reaction. It gets a like from anyway, but wouldn’t you think the time has come to apply our worldly medical jargon to things spiritual?
